Steps to move your payroll.

Update your direct deposit details with your employer

Simply move your recurring direct deposits over to a Vancity chequing account by logging in to Online Banking to download a void cheque/direct deposit form and passing it to your employer or income provider.*

How to enter contest.

Submit the entry form

Fill out the form to register your name in the draw. Last date to submit entry and make three recurring direct deposits is Dec 18, 2024.*

Deposit at least three paycheques

Set up and maintain at least three recurring pre-authorized direct deposit transactions with Vancity (each deposit being a minimum of $100) before the contest ends to ensure your spot in the draw. See contest rules.

Are staff allowed to enter the contest?

You are ineligible to enter the contest if you are an employee of Vancity, our affiliates or advertising/promotional agency, the immediate family of such employees, or an individual living in the same household as such employees.

Does my income source count as payroll for this contest?

The most common eligible pre-authorized direct deposits include payroll, government pension and gig work.

Have I met the requirements if my payroll is already directly deposited to Vancity?

As long as you retain your payroll, and there are at least three direct deposit transactions (of $100 or more each) that occur in your account between May 28, 2024 – December 18, 2024, you are eligible to enter the contest.

If I bring over multiple payrolls, am I eligible for multiple entries?

No, members are only eligible for one entry per member.

Am I eligible if I set up payroll on a joint account?

Yes you are eligible if you set up payroll on a joint account. This will count as your one entry.

Are the prizes taxable?

No, the cash bonus does not meet the requirements for tax reporting. Vancity only issues tax receipts for interest, dividends and registered products.
